  1. I WAS CONTACTED BY THIS MAN VIA MINGLE.COM. SAID HE WAS A FUND RAISER MANAGER IN USA. I EVEN SKYPED WITH HIM ONCE AND ALTHOUGH THE RECEPTION WAS NOT THAT GOOD, HE REALLY SEEMED THE MAN FROM THE PICTURES. HE SENT ME A PICTURE WHILE WE WERE CHATTING AND HE WAS HAVING LUNCH..I CHECKED THE TIMEDIFFERENCE ON HIS WATCH HE WAS WEARING BECAUSE I LIVE IN EUROPE AND I AM ALWAYS SUSPICIOUS ON THE INTERNET AND THE TIME WAS CORRECT AS HE TOLD ME. SO I REALLY BELIEVED HE WAS THE GUY FROM THE PICTURE AND I MUST SAY THESE SCAMMERS ARE REALLY PROFESSIONALS THEN AND THEY EVEN SEARCH FOR LOOK A LIKES. THANKFULLY MY GUTFEELING MADE ME BLOCK THE GUY..WHO EVER HE WAS

    1. Video can be played to you and you will see the man in the pictures, but it's not a live chat.
The reception is bad so you can't have him sat in front of the camera and you talk and he answers and that is the ONLY way that you would ever tell it was the person.

Scammers are clever but I love this outcome and I wish everyone did this. I think more and more are ! NO real men contacts women like scammers do.. more will try.. don't respond.

    2. how did he do it then..i asked him a question and he replied..the only thing that got me suspicious was that he supposed to be in a Scottish hospitals garden and there were palm threes everywhere..so i started searching the internet and learned for the first time about romance scamming..so i was already prepared when he popped the question for money for hospital bills--this guy fron the pictures really seems a nice guy and he is involved with Portugal, the country i adore...i am so frustrated talking to him for many months, falling for him and then hating him ....what can i do to prevent other women falling for this man and keep them safe from scammimg..every small thing i can do, i will.. i have saved emails from this guy, Michael George

    3. They can talk over a video if you can't see the face clearly and see that his mouth isn't saying what the words are !
We can only hope other women search too. These are scammers who are sat in West Africa and they are using stolen identity. They move on from one to the next. He has been 'grooming' you for a long time as the money he would ask for, he will have planned to ask for a large amount. We need to spread the word about scams.
Don't forget you have never spoken to the man in the pictures. He is as innocent as you are. Scamming must stop.. but we need women to know to check.
