ABOUT U.S. MILITARY SCAMS and GETTING MARRIED

About US Soldiers, life and getting married... stories scammers tell.. ALL LIES ALL FAKE.. ALL EASILY PROVED TO BE FAKE.
For a start, soldiers on deployment do not do this. They cannot put their location. They don't set up Facebook profiles and send out hundreds of Friend Requests to strangers they have never met all over the world. It puts them and their families in danger... it's like giving ISIS a list.
Think about it... do you think security would let them have an account, post pictures of themselves in their daily lives and have the place where you are living 'Kabul, Afghanistan' or some other war zone. No... it would be too dangerous. They don't regard themselves as 'Living is Aleppo'. They are serving their country there. They don't advertise it on a social media profile.
The General or Major or even the Captain does not have time to be constantly on Facebook or a dating website contacting women.
Your soldier can't come home to marry a stranger.
Look at this advice page

BECAUSE PART OF THE SCAM IS THAT THEY WILL COME HOME TO MARRY YOU... WHATEVER NATIONALITY YOU ARE... is it that easy?? NO

Look at this
''If you are overseas and marrying a foreign national, it's a different story. There are tons of forms to complete; you must obtain counseling and your commander's permission (which is rarely withheld without very good reason); your spouse must undergo a security background check and pass a medical examination. Finally, the marriage has to be "recognized" by the United States Embassy. The entire process can take several months.
Regardless of where or who, once married, if the spouse is non-military, the military member can bring a copy of the certified marriage certificate to the Personnel Headquarters on the base to receive a dependent ID card for the spouse, and enroll the spouse in DEERS (Defense Eligibility Enrollment
Reporting System
), to qualify for military benefits such as medical coverage and commissary and base exchange privileges.''
Military personnel get paid twice a month. They are very well paid with pay and allowances and they have access to ALL their money at ALL times wherever in the world they are. They pay for nothing. Food and medical treatment are all free and plentiful.
Some scammers have the story that they are starving.

Conditions are terrible in the camp and they have no food... can you send them some to buy something to eat. I read where the 'Ghana government has refused to supply the US Army with food and they are starving ! ALL FAKE ALL SCAMMER STORIES.

Now.. think about this. If there is no food, how will having any money do anything there. They can't pop down to a corner shop in Kabul or Aleppo? In or out of uniform.

If they can go to Western Union or Moneygram they can get to their own money and they won't be needing to pop to a shop on the way back.

I've even heard them say they need money to go buy some junk food just to keep them from starving. Mmm.... McDonalds Aleppo, Kabul Fried Chicken ! I am sure isn't the best hang out for US Military.. if there was one, which there isn't !
I have heard of scammer soldiers saying the food and conditions are so bad that they have ulcers and need $150 a month for the treatment. LIES. If they need treatment for anything from a war wound to a toothache... it is there for them and of very good quality.
They do not need to pay for their internet. I have seen many getting $200 a month for 'internet' and they say if they have that they can talk to their victim and be online whenever they want. One, they'd be too busy and two, internet access, if it is allowed, it is provided for them. Remember security comes first. If your soldier is on the phone morning, noon and night... think about it... how come they have so much time?

IPHONE 7 isn't the only phone their Commander will allow so will you send one.. FAKE SCAMMER STORY.
THE US ARMY DOES NOT PAY FOR LEAVE OR NEED A WOMAN TO APPLY FOR IT.
Leave.... such a popular SCAM. Victims are asked to pay for a leave permit, just to apply for the leave, then, once that is granted... and of course it always is... you are asked to pay for the leave itself and the flight home.. it can cost thousands of $'s. However, thing is that they promise you your money back once your loved one is home and back on duty again. LIES. I have enclosed a Leave Form that has been received. IT’S FAKE, THERE IS NO SUCH THING. They give an fake email address. Tell you it is the Captain/Commanding Officer/Admin or something and sometimes even give a script for you to write out as if it was your words and send that. All fake of course... still the same scammer, or his mate.
So... you've emailed and got back your fake money-back guarantee. You'll have to pay your fee...several hundred $'s... by Western Union or Moneygram (still the most common method of paying for everything). AS IF THE US ARMY WOULD BE USING MONEY SHOPS...NO....You get the fake leave form, fill it in and email it back. Soldier boy, of course, gets his leave then you have to pay a few thousand to enable him to leave the 'camp'. Sometimes even pay a few more hundred for the flight.
Please read this information
https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-process-for-a-Leave-Request-from-the-US-Army
************
LIES ALL LIES. ALL Servicemen get R&R .. Rest and Recuperation. You don't pay to apply for leave, you don't pay to get leave and the Military flies them home and back again. This story is more common than you think. It works for them. Please do not be caught being taken in my this rubbish.
************************** The US values it service people very highly. They wouldn't put them through this.
A popular SCAMMER FAKE story is that your soldier, of any rank has come across some money belonging to a rich Afghan/Syrian and has stolen it. He needs to get it out as soon as possible and he needs to send it to you.

Several things here.... really !! As if any soldier would do it or even have the opportunity to do it. Where are they going to post this money or treasure of some sort to you?

Or they have their life savings with them and need to get it to you !! Really, dollar notes in a suitcase??

Or they have bought you jewellery and want to send it to you !!! Have high priced items there and want to send them home to you???? LIES
Wrap it all up in a cardboard box and put it in the post? No.. they'll get a 'Diplomat' . (Now.. Africans call anyone who represents someone a Diplomat...the wrong word, but it's still believed). Yours will get stuck in the airport !! The box has been seized by customs and they want $2000 to get it through or else they'll open the box and check the contents... you'd better pay fast. LIES
Please never just believe what is said to you. Have a healthy scepticism and check everything. Google it all.... never just take what is said.
In fact, anyone you have never met, been talking to for 4 days or 4 months and asks you for money for any story.... they are a scammer.

I talked to someone who came as Major Schneider Brown (in Afghanistan). His mum came from Texas and His dad from Germany. He contacted me on LinkedIn and started soon a heartbreaking conversation on WhatsApp.
I was longing to know what he wants and need not wait too long.
He wants to marry me, buy a car a house etc... in about two weeks! But now he first has to go to a special dangerous mission in Kabul. So he needs to send all his savings (Laptop, iPhone, jewellery, 700.000 Dollar!!!) to me. In a box delivered from Kabul to my home as diplomatic good.
I just have to pay 6800 Eur for the delivery.
I told him to send me, but i won't pay.
Sorry, i can't stop laufhing writing this... Who in hell carries 700.000 Dollar to Kabul and send it in box to a stranger???
He's angry now, cause i don't wanna pay and now all his savings are lost. I should wait what happens when his mission ends...

His Phone no +1619-663-8346

Moris Miller Stepaniek

Hello.

I’m pretty sure I’m being scammed, but would just like confirmation. I was messaged on a dating app by a guy named Pedro Famos. He asked me to contact him via email. Peeramos70@gmail.com is his email. I was hesitant but I did. For a month, he sent genuine real messages. He told me about his life, his parents being deceased, and him wanting to open a non profit. He even sent me songs he liked. I thought nothing of it and just went with the flow.

However, last week he did ask me for an iTunes card. Supposedly for porn? I danced around the that because I swore I heard of a scam involving people wanting iTunes cards. He didn’t talk about it for three days. But then today he sent me an urgent messsge, tellingme how bought all these paintings in order to sell them later, and had them stored in a storage in Dubai. Apparently his contract is up, and if he doesn’t pick up the paintings, they will sell them. He asked if he could ship them to me.

I haven’t said anything since, since I assume I’m being scammed. That being said, am I?

Hi, there's an Owen Booth with phone number 502-265-6825 using the Krane Jerry pictures.

    2. I agree with Scam Hater. The boyfriend isn't the scammer, just as much a victim of the scam as his pictures were hijacked as the scammer was posing as the person in the picture. I think this is a great website to warn people. I was the victim of a scam I think it was in 2012 or 2013 where $650 was taken from me by a so called soldier named Johnson Uber. He sent a receipt of his plane tickets and flight but I looked up the flight online and found that it was all fictitious. I was furious and hated myself for a very long time for falling for something that foolish.

    3. Never hate yourself or feel foolish. Greedy thieves took advantage of you being kind and being too trusting is all you did wrong here ! Nothing else.

    1. Well... first.. they all say that. Every single fake will tell you that he is the right one and he had his pictures stolen and used. NO... this never happens. HE IS THE SCAMMER.

Second.. if he was real he would NOT be allowed to contact a stranger and tell you where he is deployed. On Facebook or otherwise, security is everything.

Texas is the new widowed !! They usually all say they are widowed.. they now also come from Texas. Honestly... if he is using pictures you have found on here he is fake.

It's easy to check... and read this.
      https://www.army.mil/article/130861/army_investigators_warn_public_about_romance_scams

You can contact them and ask them if he is real. You can ask him for his army email address (only ending in army.mil and send him an email. If he tells you he can't access it because of security, he is lying. It's there for them to use.

He WILL ask for money.. even if he hasn't yet. Or bank details.. or an itunes card.. or something. But.. he WILL.

Spare yourself now.. because you are being scammed.

In my case he was supposed to have sent me a military box through a shipping company in the UK because his life is in danger and it is probable he will go into risky missions like the one he has just been to where a partner saved his life (even sent me a photo of an injured soldier).
When i found out that the shipping costa raised about €4000 i realised how stupid i had been. Of course i did not send any money but i felt quite stupid for all the mistakes i have done in this case.I am quite a shame that I can tell anyone.

    1. Sadly the fake box is one of their oldest scams. They will send you many pictures that mean nothing. They send you fake shipping details and it all looks real. Also they keep going at you so you do not have time to think about it.
https://www.facebook.com/pg/thefightbackstartshere is our Facebook page and there is a Message button on there and we can talk there.
Never feel ashamed or stupid. You trusted them and they betrayed your trust and your good nature. They are evil.. and this is all about their greed and crime. I am just so sorry they found you.

Several of us have tried to tell her it's a scam. she is not listening - she is trusting in GOD to guide her and says she will believe he is real when she see's the whites of his eyes. In the mean time, everything we tell her that debunks his story, she has answers for. I know the guys photos are on your site - but I cannot find them. I don't know what else to do - she doesn't want to believe us, she desperately wants to believe the fairy tale. he has already asked to marry her when he comes home. He says he is from GA, his ex-wife is in Italy and his daughter is in NY! Anyway - the name is Richard Smith, Nigeria Aug. 3, 1972. My colleague speaks to him most mornings, and has multiple photos of 'him' on her desk and he has sent her photos of the same person upon request. I just don't know what else to do to make her see this is a scam!

  32. Hello ladies, my name is Elana. I am sorry that most of you were victim of this scam and so was I. I went on a dating site called uniformdating.com and met someone by the named Captain Romeo Gutteruiz Frye. The picture the owner of this site posted here was the same person that scam me. He had used two different pages to lore women to talk to him. Luckily, I reported to the dating site on Facebook. I knew something was suspicious. I also was a fool too because I have lost 200 bucks from this scammer. The second time I tried to send money to this idiot. I was thinking to myself that this idiot send me a video of the victim of the photo with his two kids and I overview the video many times and examine it and the voice is much different than the actual video the scammer send to me. The white guy in the picture you posted online here is a victim. The scammer had stolen all of his pictures such as his military photo, kids photo, and everything. The victim of that photo has a last name Frye. I have all the photo the scammar had sent to me. He is the victim in this case. I would like to help find the victim, so he can report this matter to the military as a threat of terrorism and identity thief. His identity has stolen from an African person in Nigeria because the person is calling me from a download app that they used anonymously where you can't call them back. I recognize the voice immediately that the gentleman on the phone has a African voice that does not match the victim video that he had sent to me. He claimed he is station in Kileen, Texas and called himself Captain Romeo Gutierrez Frye. He also stated that his wife cheated on him and he has two small children. He says his mom is Mexican and his father is white. He claimed that his mom is sick her name is Claudia Alvarez. The number he called me from is 2243103548. A number he used from Illinois where he stated that his mom is currently on a missionary for doing the work of God. I also feel such a completely fool that I had to send another money for the second time to this person, but I stop it. I called Western Union immediately. They were able to refund my money back. I block everything from this person for not contacting me. Please beware that this person is asking for money and asking for a checking account number. I was able to give him a false account to shut him off. I am not that dumb to give my actual account to this person. Where can I contact the person who runs this website? I would like to share my story to them. -Elana

    1. Elana. First... the man who is in the pictures can do nothing about it. This is the big problem that we have. There are not laws in Africa that will do anything. They are free to use any pictures they want to. This is one of the main things we can do nothing about. He can't and yes he is the biggest victim.
      scamchatfightback@gmail.com is the email address.
I am glad you got the money back. One good thing, the scammer didn't get that.

Why even give him a fake account?? He is not there. Block him and refuse to speak to him !!

Please email.. and I will post your story if you want me.

Falei para me deixar em paz e deletar meu numero, ele me disse. Agora é me cuidar, alertar outras mulheres e esquecer aquele homem enorme, lindo de sorriso largo e olhos azuis.

  57. What do they do when they locate a fake profile on Facebook?
Only post or request account lockout?
    Do they alert potential victims?
The scammers keep a list of friends, usually women, real people who are cheated and extorted. Can you warn them?

I recently came across a fake, I realized at first and it will be blocked.
When I saw the photos of the women on the friends list, I was worried. I'd like to alert them, but I'm afraid they will not believe it, they're probably already involved.

Real people should not keep their lists of friends the fakes and unknowns. This gives them strength so that they continue to multiply and cause harm to innocent people.

    1. It's a hard thing to do. Profiles are requested to be removed.
Potential victims are warned. Yes the scammers have a list of victims and we are aware that many will have already been moved on to other platforms as Facebook is just the recruiting ground.
Warning can go both ways.. sometimes goes well and sometimes not but we try to warn first and the majority of the time it goes well.
However to me, there is no choice. The warnings have to be tried. They will not always be well received. You win some and very much you sometimes lose some.

We do what we can. It's better than nothing. We still feel more than anything the education has to be foremost.

If the phones and laptops in African fell silent and Western Union got no more money sent !! it would have to lessen.

It's a distant dream. However we have to try.

    Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes you are being well and truly scammed. He will want all your info and then he will 'send' you the paintings. During the journey they will get stopped at various customs.. and you will be asked to pay thousands to get them through !!
Of course at the end, when you are tired of paying fee after fee there are no paintings, there is no man and you are a lot of money lighter!

To my surprise, the photo i googled popped up on this site. the image was the same, the name and info given were similar. I'm just glad to have caught this before something bad had happened. Thanks for your dedication guys.

    2. I was talking to David cosovan for 2 days when he asked me 500 to pay for his internet service. I write the questions I made and his answers just to learn the new excuses they've been using
-Doesn't the marine offer you internet connection?
-Yes but one for a few hours a day
-Don't you have money on your bank account
-It is frozen because when we were in Syria they caught marines to sell guns to the terrorists so they freeze our accounts before any mission.
-Don't you have anybody in the states to ask for money?
-We're as one and we should help each other
At that point I reported him and blocked him. I contacted the real cosovan and he told me that he knows but he's tired to care anymore. I feel sorry for this guy because his life is severely violated.

    4. We do always ask people not to contact the real men. They do know and it's so bad they have hundreds of messages every week about it. Let them live their lives.. they can do nothing.
Thanks very much for the information... they insult every US service person by alleging the corruption that is rife in their country !

    5. Sorry for contacting. I really didn't know about this kind of scam and how I should react. I only thought I would warn this poor guy. Although I'm not from the states I feel disgust how they disgrace the soldiers. I'll try to fight it as much as I can.

  72. Hello, this is more of a request, I see you focus a lot on Google+ and Facebook, but can you also add the Asian SNS, named kakao Story, https://story.kakao.com I have setup a #fraud page there. So many scammers are taking advantage of theses people which are not really aware of how these scammers operate. But it would really help if you could also add the https://story.kakao.com to your fraud, scammers. the page I setup to help out the Asian people. https://story.kakao.com/hashtag/fraud

If you want to write something in your own language I can post it on our FB page and on here.

  82. How do we send you a pic of someone who is a scammer? I googled what he told me, "Camp Blackjack West Africa" and found your site which matched exactly what he said, "Combat engineer at Camp Blackjack in West Africa." He said he was trying to come home soon and be with the woman he wanted to marry, just like what your site said. This was on Plenty of Fish. Let me know how to contact you; I can send his photos/profile if you like.

We can no longer get Instagram fakes removed. They have told us that they will not accept our fakes any more.
They seem to accept that there are millions of fakes on there and they do not care about people, victims past and present and the men used.

    https://www.facebook.com/prasad.sanjeewa.507464

And here is his message to me:

    Hello,

I am Mr. Anthony Jenkins from the united States of America I work with Barclays Bank as the Managing Director at present.
I am contacting you for a business transaction that has to do with your name and country. Kindly go through it and get back to me as soon as possible.

    Dear Alan Chambers,

With due respect and in an utmost good faith. Kindly accept my apology by contacting you this medium and this urgent. I am Anthony Jenkins a citizen of United States of America. I work with Barclays Bank of Ghana as Managing Director at present. We have in the bank the existence of an amount of money that belongs to my late customer, Daniel B. Chambers, who died in an earthquake years back and left no Next of Kin to claim the fund. He has the same name as yours and your country as his place of origin. I am seeking your consent and cooperation to re-profile this account in your name for our mutual benefit. Hence, I don't want the Bank to confiscate this fund because the late Daniel advised and warned me against that before his death. The late Daniel directed that part of his fund be used for Charity and Human development.

I am therefore seeking your cooperation to stand as the recipient while I work here as the executioner to provide information and guidelines that will facilitate the transfer. we are two parties involved, so we will split the fund in the ratio of 50% / 50%. There Is No Risk and No government involvement. This is strictly confidential and must not be disclosed to a third party please. Send me your reply of interest or you can contact me through my email (kwakuprine219@gmail.com) so that i can give you the details. I will give you the details and the deposit certificate when i hear from you.

    Kind Regards,
    Anthony Jenkins.

  86. I am very grateful to this site, as I only knew that the person I was talking to was a scammer when I saw his picture here. He told me his name was Andrew Cortez, age 34, who lived between California (with his father) and Texas (alone). told me he have two dogs one pitbull and one podlle. The mother´s name is Christina Cortez that lives with her sister in Mexico. And the father, Robert Cortez lives in California. He told me he is a SSgt from US Marine and is on a mission in West Africa and that he would not be able to leave of this mission unless let it done one request of his fiancee or spouse for do it. We talked for almost 1 month. He sent me several pictures and not all of them are available on the internet. In this webpage I saw that his name is Joe Cortez but I already found his name on social networking sites like Brian, Daniel Hopping, Matthew Cortez. I wish the person in the photo could be notified of what they are doing with their image but I don't know if that person is part of this dirty scheme or not. Anyway, thank you for sharing this precious information! I´d like to know if I can send for u guys all those pictures he sent to me, so that you can spread more images about this person and help more people not to fall for this scam.

    His Phone no +1619-663-8346
    Captain (Major)Schneider Brown
