  8. Hello, I want to report another scammer. He introduced himself as Dr Henry Wallace, currently an orthopedic specialist at the United Nations in Syria - the story was the same, a widowed doctor with a young son, on a UN mission in Syria. The Facebook profile no longer works, but uses several men's photos. I found one and tried to alert him that his private photo was misused by a cheater, he has not read my message yet

If anyone comes to you and says military, doctor or soldier they are fake.. why would a Doctor be on a 'UN Mission in Syria'... now that makes no sense.

Always check what they say.. Google the life out of everything and drop them.. they deserve nothing of your time.

  14. I have been talking to a man who I now suspect is a scammer. I have tried to research it on my own, but I don't really know what I'm doing. He is on Instagram. Says he lives in Atlanta. His name is Thamos Trae Webb. There is another profile with his pics, but the name is Roland Webb. He says he has flown to Oslo to supply cable on a contract from Exxon. When he first got there, he said a person at the airport, who was supposed to be helping him, robbed him. At first he didn't ask for anything. He said the police would find them. A few days later, he said that he had no money and no way to get food. He said he emailed his bank, but he didn't hear back from them until after I refused to send him $1600, to the hotel accounts manager, who was supposed to be in Istanbul at a hospitality conference. He gave me info to send money by Money Gram to Turkey. I didn't do that. Now, to prove he can trust me, he wants me to send $500 to an orphanage. He gave me the name of a woman in Louisiana named Claudia Dewhirst. I don't know what to do.

Any man who has a problem in a foreign country goes to his Embassy. If he is robbed, needs police, anything, the US Embassy gets involved. Or whatever their national country.
He has gone to supply cable yet has no money for food?? He's gone to Oslo, not the moon !! His bank and cards would work there perfectly.
It's time to stop being used .... sending money to Turkey often finds it's way into Syria as funds raised for terrorists.. so
      RUN.
HONESTLY.. it's time to stop this farce. You will never meet this man.., you can't, he does not exist. JUST A SCAMMER ON A LAPTOP.

    3. They can lie about where they are from and where they are now.. however once the money is on the way it has to go to the mule.
There is always an excuse but massive amounts of money goes through Turkey.
There are rumours it is terrorist fundraising, I can't prove that but I would not be suprised. We know the fundraise with scams.

  32. I don't know if she will listen to any type of reason. This guy is really good. We have known each-other for over 50 years and she's actually angry at me for trying to expose this jerk. She totally believes his FB page was hacked because she played poker on FB and her game was hacked. He gave her a military email address but the thing is he's supposed to be Army and the address was Air Force. I sent a test email to both Army and Air Force with his name trevor.patch@us.army.mil and trevor.patch.us.af.mil.. I didn't receive anything back from the Army, but I did receive an undeliverable reply from what appears to the an AF base located in the US in Alabama.

The thing is this is the second man to romance her from words with friends. The first one I exposed and she believed that. He claimed to be an Army 4 star general, he was easy. But this guy, the 1st class Major, who she was talking to at the same time she was speaking to the fake general, hooked her good.

She did try to send him a package with tea and soaps but the shipping charges were too high.He told her that a diplomat brings all of their mail due to Syria being a war zone. I'm not worried about her giving money, she has nothing. But I am worried about her heart being broken because she's looking for love. Even though she is married and this jackass knows this. Of course, his wife died. She's hesitant to give me anymore information. I have a friend who is retired from the Army, rank Sgt. Major who knows this is a scam and advised to report. When I asked her if I have to have the US Army call her directly to tell her this is a scam she told me "Don't go there."

How can you help me to convince her to talk to you or someone? Or, how can I supply proof this is not real?

Thank you so very much for following up so quickly. I told her I was willing to have her end our lifelong friendship to get to the truth. In her mind she felt that he was answering all of her questions and he sounded truthful to her.

I am 90G military Sargent officer with the 1s infantry 62nd battalion army in field 16 till I'm here in Syria right now ...11B is "Rifle Infantryman Hi I've received this from a guy on Instagram Garcia118023, he's divorced 2 years, single parent, on duty in Syria for the next 5 months and believes I could be the one for him to spend the rest of his life with. Yeah right, I've reported his Ig account but his pics are v cute so I think he will try to contact other people. I'd hate him to be using an existing soldiers pics.. is there anyway we can stop this? Thank you

Pictures that have been used before. Look at the friends list, a young soldier has other soldiers, friends and family..
