He is also on Kiki app and on Jackd app as Mike Silvas. We had been in communication for the pass few weeks. He is claiming to be deployed in the army in a top secret mission in Nigeria. In the time that we chat he told me that his parents died in a car accident when he was a child. Then he start saying that he want to be in a relationship with me as soon he is back with in a year from now. he said he was a s5 sergeant in the army and started promising a wonderful future. Which that set a red flag, within the first month of texting he was declaring his dying love . Then he started to asked for iTunes Gift Cards and telling if I can sent him money so he could be able to celebrate his birthday since the army got all his account on hold due to his mission. He also claim to have a house in West Palm Beach Florida. When I told him that my brother in law was also in the army. He stop talking and I haven't hear from him ever since

Hes also using the name Terry Silvas. Been talking to him on & off since lasted July. Told me he's 5yr old daughter was playing one day & fell down the steps & broke her spleen which she was to have died from a few days later.That was back in Feb then a about a week ago he sent me a video of the same little girl outside playing & asked me if I could send him 200.00 so he could get her a birthday gift. When I asked him how are you going to buy her a gift to play with when she's supposedly passed away. I haven't heard from him since that day.

      The pictures are stolen.. these are Africans using his stolen pictures. He has no control over this... and no choice. The scammers don't care who they hurt.

      Why do you need to know his real name? It isn't important.
      No, he isn't dead already, it is very easy to find a soldier who has been killed.

      He will know, most of them do. They can do nothing about it. African don't care and there is no law, they can get anyone's pictures from the internet and use them.

      This has nothing to do with the man. Just evil scammers.

    He used the name Eric Silvas with me. Trying to get $1000 dollars from me I don't have a job right now and money is very tight. And he doesn't seem to understand I have a 3 year old to take care of

    He also goes by the name of Kyle Silvas. He tried to get to know me then asked for money. That seemed strange to me so I started ressearching him. My friends husband works in the army and stationed at Fort Knox. There's no one by the name of Kyle Cody Silvas listed in the army. I told him exactly that the next timehe messaged me. He's left me alone until last night and today. He's still harrassing me. Won't leave me alone. The last messagehe sent was ttelling mehhe'd teach me if Iwwanted to learn. All I want is this sick POS to leave me alone!

      Block him and NEVER EVER respond to him at all. Don't even tell him to go away.
      He will give up but if you respond he never will.
      You are reading his messages... block him so you can't receive them.

      Don't let him get to you because he is a Nigerian scammer and they don't know the meaning of not being wanted by you. They are arrogant and evil. It's up to you now. Block him.

      I blocked him shortly after I posted this message. His text messages had become very evil and close to threats. I had that gut feeling something was off with him so I didn't get attached. Thankfully I didn't give him money. Thank you for setting up this site. It's horrible the way innocent soldiers are getting their identities stolen by these crooks.

      My greatest hope is one day the US Army and Government put pressure on sites like Facebook, other social media and the dating sites. Because they could, and they don't.

      If he has your bank details you have to tell the bank because they can do a lot with them.. even if you have money in there or not.

      I want to share something with you... you do NOT have the real guy in the picture. He is NOT online and he is NOT contacting women and planning to meet them.
      It's been a long time I know... but don't send any money.... if he is telling you he is deployed, well that is the biggest tell because he can't do that if he was real.
      BUT.. be very careful. You are being scammed.

      I like that... they really are idiots. But.. what is bad is that when people accept them on their FB they go through yours and your friends profiles and steal pictures ..... and pictures and videos to do just this with is very common. Also pets... all to help the scam.

      There is no low they will not go.

    HI! I was scammed by this group using similar pics. His name is Pizarro on Coffee Meets Bagel and is on Facebook currently as Daniel Silvas. I have pics to share but not sure how to attach them to this forum. He actually sent me a pic with my name, current date, and I love you written on it. Great photoshop I guess? I almost fell for it.

      Yes.. they are good photoshoppers.. never accept unless it's a video and you see them write it on the paper and use your name direct to camera !! Which will never happen !!

    this guy is using a gay dating site to scam money out of people too today my friend got a message off him on grizzly I was messaging as my friend didn't know what to say, he claims he is deployed to the uk down in London where there are no US bases here at all.. never has been I have friends in the uk army, also this guy was up for coming to Manchester to meet my friend but insisted that he pays for the train fare almost straight away,when I asked for picture with date and time I got no I'm in a restricted area not aloud, he also brought up his sick mom with cancer,he claimed he had to pay for his bills but I know this is not true if your on barracks here in the uk! the next thing he said was how about I buy a iTunes voucher and he can sell it to a friend there and get the money to come to Manchester, I told my friend it was scam straight away! as soon as they said us army based in the uk..then the money was brought up... he is using a us number for WhatsApp +11631 637 7967 now ive done a image search and found a profile for a guy on Instagram where all his photos are watermarked! this is the legit profile of the guy and I have contacted him directly asking him about it! however I am aware it could be another scammer... I feel bad for the real person whose life is being used like this! scammers are horrible people!

      Can I make a small request.. You can see that he is fake.
      You can tell from the stories you have been given it is fake. Just block it.
      You have contacted the legit guy? WHY? Give him the respect he deserves and leave him out of it. After all, he hasn't been involved so far, so why should he have to deal with everyone that the scammers have been talking to when he has had no part in it. Have you any idea how many hundreds of messages they get a week.. and why?? No reason. They are a worm on a hook, bait. To real a victim in and it's hard for them to get on with their lives.

      Never contact anyone.. it could be another scammer, and it isn't fair if it's the real one.

      PLEASE BLOCK IT ALL NOW. It's only when we have African scammers sat with blank screens and nobody on chat apps that this will get less.

      Scammers are evil. I am not joking they are the lowest form of human life. Treat them as they deserve to be treated. With silence and contempt !!

      Please pass around to all your friends that anyone that comes to you and says Military are FAKE. It's something the real US Army isn'T allowed to do. Contact strangers, tell them where they are and arrange to meet. AND THEY ARE FLOODING GAY DATING SITES.

He told me that his bases is in San Antonio and that he has a 5 year old son that is in Lisbon Portugal, he also told me that he has some inheritance from his father and that he need a spouse to claim his money, and then he was asking me for some money thast when I decided to look him up and it shows his a scam.. What do o do if he has my SSN and my house address

    I was on Hinge and he asked me to switch to Kik. Dumb ass, I did. We messaged for 2 days. He said he was in a secret military program in Washington and couldn't call or leave the base for any reason until his leave in 2-3 months. Then we could meet. He also couldn't make calls because it was so restricted. He wanted to be serious and for me to close my profiles on the dating sites, I did. When he hinted he wanted me to buy him things at the store I started Googling him. He promised me all kinds of future, travel etc.

    I met him on Hinge 3 weeks ago...we switched to chatting on Kik not long after. He now goes by the name of Richard Williams.
    He says he's from Denver Colarado...lost his parents when he was 17. Says he's in the army in West Africa and will be heading back home in 3 weeks (and wants to meet because he's so much in love with me...RED FLAGS SET OFF RIGHT THERE!)
    I'm so glad I did a Google image search and fell upon this site...Im PISSED that I fell prey to this scammers BULLSHIT.
