ReplyDeleteYou were contacted by an African scammer using the stolen pictures of this man.
DeleteIt was not him and he would never ask you for money.. but a Nigerian criminal would
John Mabry ask for a google play card I believe the man in the picture is apart of the scss as m
ReplyDeleteHow unfair and very short sighted to think this. No the video chat you may think you had was not real... and why does a soldier need a Google play card. Scamming as himself he'd be arrested in a day.. THINK ABOUT IT AND DO NOT ACCUSE WRONGLY ... scamming is bad enough.. but for scammers not to even get the blame is unforgiveable.
DeleteI've been contacted by a person with this image. Definitely with a foreign accent. Claiming to be a widowed soldier and father of a 5 year old girl who was supposed to be cared for by his nan in his home state of Texas. He says he's deployed to S Korea and doesn't have access to his monies in the states. He's repeatedly asked for monies via Bitcoin and Google cards for "credit" on his WhatsApp account. I always push back but have admittedly given monies in this past almost 3 months. For me he went by the name: Derrick Mabry. He said he was born in the US but taken back to Jamaica to be raised after his military father passed. He trolled me on IG where he had the name Lmilitary60 before disabling his account.
ReplyDeleteI was contacted by this scammer too...I never gave him access to money but somethings he said just didn't feel right. Wow...the lengths ppl will go to for money!!
ReplyDeleteYes they do... why work when they can sit and text and lie! Glad it got nothing from you
DeleteJust wanted to say this dude is still going around FB trying to scam people. I knew immediately something was off...he sent a friend request twice. Had no other friends on his page and had 2 pictures of different men on his page. Of course I reverse google imaged his profile pic and came across this page lol. He got blocked immediately. Please be careful everyone!
ReplyDeleteThank you for searching and knowing.. it would literally, change the world if everyone did it !
ReplyDeleteIm talking to someone with that photo rn
ReplyDeleteThen you are talking to scammers!
DeleteHe did the same thing to me, but I felt like he was a scammer! And I think he has other pictures as well
ReplyDeleteWell I have been talking to this person for the last 5 months & unfortunately he has gotten a lot of money from me. He went by the name John Mabry. He sent me a friend request on Facebook. He told me he was a widower, had one daughter, his parents were deceased, his wife was deceased, & he had no close friends. I should’ve known something was up then. He also told me he was a sergeant in the army living in Atlanta. He told me he was from Jamaica & he does have an accent. He also told me not to tell anyone we were dating. Shortly after claiming his daughter had a birthday & asking for an apple gift card, he told me he was being deployed but never told me where. Mind you he had said that he wanted me to be his woman & his wife two weeks after chatting. Once he supposedly got to the place he was deployed, he immediately started asking for money for all kind of stuff: food, water, cellphone, charger, supplies, processing paperwork, flight to take leave, COVID test & vaccine, etc. Now he’s saying that he’s been injured & needs surgery on his leg after her supposedly never made his flight to come see me. This dude is so sad & sick.
ReplyDeletethese are African scammers stealing pictures and telling you stories. NO real man needs money.. (Mabry is married happily with a family). Love and marriage in 2 weeks.. would never happen in a real world. NO soldier needs money for ANYTHING and surgery! The Military takes care of everything. PLEASE get out of this scam and please don't get into any more. These AfriCANS WILL KEEP HOUNDING YOU... so block everywhere
DeleteI have just been contacted by someone using not these photos but photos of the same man on a dating site in Australia claiming to be living in the Australian Capital Territory … being that I have had multiple attempts of scammers trying to con me in romance scams I used google image to find the source of the image he’s using on his profile photo.. and found this page (among many others) thank you for stopping me from
ReplyDeleteWasting my time on yet another scammer on dating sites.. I have blocked and reported his profile to the dating site.
Thank you
They are relentless and so fake! Thanks for searching (and finding)... they lost this time but I do hope you find a real person!
