ScamHaters United...Who and Why?

We are a group of caring people..that should do ! I will explain more.

My name is Ruth and I am an English woman.  I was made a widow. My Police Officer husband died much too young and eventually,after a while, I added my status as ‘Widowed’ to my Facebook account.

Suddenly I was a most attractive woman!! Why would engineers and Generals suddenly want to know ordinary? Being a person who does not trust easily ! I Google’d and found ROMANCE SCAMS. I was appalled that this was happening. This was over 10 years ago. I spent a long time researching and contacting and helping other pages but nobody quite did it as I wanted to. SO ONE NIGHT, OVER 8 YEARS AGO, SCAMHATERS WAS BORN ! I was watching football (soccer ) on TV and as I watched I saw UNITED means together. It means a team !  I had retired and I had time so started this.

It has grown and grown and so has scams and scammers. The GOOGLE Blog started and as others came in to help we came on board, Instagram and  Youtube. Anywhere to catch people and raise awareness of this life changing crime. A crime so evil and wicked families are torn apart. Not only are people robbed of money they have worked for. Have taken loans for, personality is changed and trust is destroyed. Mental health is affected and damaged and in many cases, this is emotional rape. It happens to men and women.

 We have many here who help  , ones that we don’t name publicly but in our groups work tirelessly AND I MEAN TIRELESSLY to help others. Our little band covers 14 different nationalities . We are SO busy helping others. WE DO IT WELL.. VERY WELL.

We have  Admins on our INSTAGRAM page..again who work long long hours for victims, the men used in scams and reporting and awareness. Often this thankless task is unnoticed and yet it takes hours and hours of time to keep this going.

REMEMBER IT IS ‘NICE’ PEOPLE WHO ARE SCAMMED. Nice people are vulnerable ! They would not do this to anyone else so why would anyone do it to them. Victims are NOT Stupid. They just trusted. This is the most heartless and cruel crime you can come across in your life. So evil it is hard to understand how any human can do this to another. It’s all because of GREED.

We have groups...

ScamHaters United... The Friends. This is a group of people who have suffered at the hands of scammers and who need the support of others who have been there and understand. Being scammed can be a lonely place ! Nobody understands and often family can’t even be talked to. Mutual support and friendship can help start the healing and keep you safe. It’s a secret group and so you need to ask us if you wanted to come into this group of really lovely people.

ScamHaters United... The Warners. Women who are interested in trying to prevent people becoming victims. Where women are seen on fake profiles, they are contacted by others in this group. MEMES are posted on fake profiles as bright and loud warnings for people to see. This often has good results and saves women getting involved and losing. ScamHaters United...SHU4U Just a place to chat about scammers and learn. We hope to break the cycle of women just accepting strangers and getting involved. Getting them away from ‘playing’, scammers are not toys. They are nasty and dangerous. GET THEM OUT OF YOUR LIFE ! 

IT IS HARD TO GET MEDIA ATTENTION... THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED !! ISN’T SCAMMING SCANDAL ENOUGH?? Shall Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms go unchallenged because nobody cares?? NO !!!! WE CARE. We need MORE from Media to get awareness out there for this.

PLEASE SPREAD THE POSTS. It is only worldwide awareness which will do anything to lessen scams. 

Whether it’s accepted or not the majority of scams originate from West Africans. THIS IS FACT . Yes, there are scammers everywhere and they have helpers in every country. Some money mules are unwilling victims being scammed themselves, some are doing it for money. HOWEVER NIGERIA AND GHANA ARE THE ROMANCE SCAM CAPITALS OF THE WORLD. They won’t stop it there. There is too much money going into their countries and scammers spend big.

WE HAVE TO STOP MONEY GETTING TO THEM. WE HAVE TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THAT MILITARY MAN ROMANCING THEM IS FAKE. That Oil Rigger is fake.. THAT DOCTOR IN A WAR ZONE is fake.

WE HAVE TO STOP THEM GETTING THIS MONEY. Only when their phones fall silent and laptops have nobody to contact will this get less.

So I hope we have something for everyone. We are ordinary people. We care and we are prepared to do this to help others and fight and raise awareness of scammers.  We put ourselves out there and get on with what we do best.
