SCAMMERS AND PSYCHOLOGY... The Art of Manipulation.

Look at these and you will see things you recognise.
Scammers are not random and their methods are not without structure and control.

BUT REMEMBER IT'S YOUR LIFE.. THEY ARE ON THE OTHER END OF THE PHONE... NOT WITH YOU... YOU HAVE CHOICES.

CHOOSE TO SAY NO AND NEVER SEND ANYONE MONEY.

    3. I feel you. I also lost a lot, A LOT of money. Thankfully I started to listen to my inner self. I stopped sending money, he insinuated suicide. After 5 months either he or a new scammer is contacting me.

Please, talk about what you have done with someone who won't berate you. It is a welcome release.

    4. Excellent advice. Can you imagine people so EVIL they threaten suicide to get you to send money to steal from you... we deal with the worst of humanity and nobody deserves to have this happen to them

  11. Do you have a podcast? It would be immensely helpful to millions of potential victims and cathartic to real life victims if the latter were given a platform on which to tell their stories.

  14. I was asked to friend a good looking soldier on facebook suposidly divorced with a 10 year old daughter called Cathy. He was American soldier called Cravey Edward with email craveyedward1386@gmail.com. The facebook page looked real and I accepted. Very soon he asked me to download Googlehangouts and then started sweet talking me and asking me to marry him, and this went on for about 6 weeks. Sometimes in the middle of the night supposedly because of the time difference. He was going to retire from the army and come to Australia to be with me. It all went sour when he said he had a last mission to perform before he could retire that needed him to kill one of the enemy also the ss were involved in the mission. Which meant he would have a good retirement payout and be set for life. I might add he was supposed to be in Afghanistan. There were quite a number of photos of the real Cravey which they were making into this fake person but when I did some hunting after the event I found that they were actually ones stolen off the internet and were of a very high ranking soldier actually with the surname Cravey. Hence some of the photos were very real as names were on uniform etc. Then the next day after the supposed last mission I was told he was in big trouble and had been jailed by his enemy because he had accidentally shot a 10 year old child belonging the them and the child needed medical attention (of which there were photos) to the tune of $20,000 or he would be jailed for the rest of his life and, I think in desperation to get the money, as I was being very difficult with questions to him, beheaded. This was immediately the big red flag and I said NO and immediately deleted the Googlehangout program. I since found the real legitimate soldier on the internet with all the same photos that had been sent to me. I feel very sorry that this real person had been used in such a fashion and glad that he was a happily married person. It was an awful ordeal to go through for me and I was really amazed that someone could manipulate me in such a way.

    1. Cravey is used mercilessely by scammers and their greedy stories to steal money from innocent people.
The stories they tell are so wild imagination it takes a truly twisted brain to come up with these lies.
Thank you for the information and thank you for knowing.

  15. I have a picture that is found all over the Internet. I found the same picture connected to an active Twitter account which appears to be real. I’m so skeptical because of the numerous scammers that I have been contacted by...I was scammed once, I should’ve listened to my gut it was only$150.00 gift card and this was months ago! Since then I’ve picked up on many cues and signals.
The current pictures I have did bring up some red flags and I just cannot trust without a visual conversation. I think the person on Twitter is real and yet, other people (scammers) have his pictures because I was contacted by one with his pictures (and awful pictures of an accident he was in as well. I got rid of that person. But now a new person has popped up. He’s not asking to chat on another app, he’s not professing his love, but the birthdates do not match and neither do the states of residence or demeanor based on the conversation in text on IG compared to information and conversation on Twitter.
If I send you a photo can you find out what his real name is? The Twitter account looks like a users ID and I cannot Direct message him as he does not follow me.
I’ll attempt to send this to your email or FB page as well.

  23. By nature Im very careful person. Now are boring times with this virus and many of us might try to use dating apps for curiosity. I met a guy, 2 days ago on Italy Social app under name Alex Justin. On hangouts his name is Alex Maine Tom. His writings are like novels, no man writes like this, sad story, Afghanistan... so I uploaded his picture to check who is that for real. Pictures of that poor guy have been used so many times under different names. Bruce Rodriguez, Enrique Michael, David Smith, Adrian Adolpho, Michael Covert. No trace of real person. Does he even know that his pictures are the most used ones by scams. I wish i can upload pic here but there is no option. Anyway I just enjoyed playing detective and I think everyone should check on their own strange people they are talking to.

They do not do it. Real men do NOT go looking on social media to contact women.
Every time someone says they are military, it is a scammer from
      West Africa with love words.
NEVER AGREE TO GO TO HANGOUTS,WHATSAPP OR ANY OTHER CHAT APP.
They WILL ask for cards and/ or cash
      NEVER SEND

If someone sends Itune cards to a scammer, bought with cash at $50,scratches off the back code, sends it to scammer and the scammer has their name, home address, cell#, but nothing else,no personal info i.e.,bank accounts, soc.sec.,credit card #'s, etc. what can the scammer do with that Itune card besides cash it in? How else can they hurt their victim?

    ReplyDelete

    1. well you are out $50 which would make me angry but they are not cashing it, they are selling it to be
loaded' or topped up and used with others. The fraudster uses the card not as it was meant to be used.
If they have no more info they can do no damage but why would you send?

  28. I was invited by a guy called Franc Kovac on Linkedin. His profile showed that he was a Project Director of Turner Construction. He was assigned to a Project in Turkey. His account with Steward Commercial Bank was put on hold and he needed another account to transfer his money to. I transferred money to the bank's marketer in Turkey to open an account. An account was opened in my name. This guy requested for his money to be transferred to my account. All of this was FAKE. I was so naive. Is there any way that i can get this money back? There is a company who claims that they can hack the marketer's account but i need to send them $500. The company's name is http://lacertechprotection.com/. Is this another way to scam people?

    1. Money to scammers doesnt come back I am sorry, which is why we are here and hope you'll find us before you send! Turkey is a hotbed of scammers bank accounts... LOTS of scam money goes to Turkey. You need to close any bank account in your name. Contact the bank. It will be used in crime in your name and not theirs.
