Hi!Please be careful.I was one of the victim. I am from Asian. And I have sent out money 17000usd. This imposter claims he unable to go home. Based in afghanistan and needs flight money. And leave money. He will chat me every day. And due to blindness...I sent him money.the week he supposed to meet me. He said he was shot. After sending money 8000usd. Two weeks later he claims he had surgery. Cant meet me. After sending another 4000usd. Another two weeks after sending usd 5500 he told me his camp was attacked by terrorist. Find suspicious I did my research and contacted the Real person and his sister. Am glad I found out the Truth. This scammer even provide proof....The list of army names travelling to Europe countries. And even provide a fake will for his property to be divided in case he died on surgery. Please ladies. The real man will NEVER ask for money. So if u see this man photos contact u and ask for money out of "love." Immediately...leave! This scammer makes it seems so real. I have fallen for it. And thanx u for these idiots...I am in heavy debts. Just because of wanting to get my 'loverboy' out from afghanistan. Please Dunt fall for his trap. I AM A VICTIM.

This person had the nerve to ask me to pay his internet fees of $500 because the military was starting to charge him in Nigeria. Ridiculous! He also went by Ward Smith and email/hangout was wardsmith1@Gmail.com. Shortly after I blocked him, I received some requests on social media from "Oliver" from Nigeria. I blocked those requests, too. Be careful and never ever send money to people online.
Thank you for putting this up. I was someone affected. Contacted by a fake person. Unaware of what was going on. Contacted john because of concerns as many people follow him. Thanks to these scammers I have now been blocked from a public profile which I was innocently following.
ReplyDeleteIt's horrible and I really feel for him. I have to admit it was one I wasn't aware of. I have listed as many as I can find today... and I hope to get many of them removed and will keep going.
DeleteSorry he blocked you, it's hard for them because they get hundreds of messages ever week.. and they always know ! So we don't bother them but just remember, he will be a lovely man in a very difficult situation.
Thank you for the information. Sadly I did not think to do this earlier instead of Instant messaging with him today. Lesson Learned, and the only reason I accepted the Friend request is because we had a few mutual friends. They have all been warned that he is not a real person and to unfriend him immediately.

DeleteThen you will find pictures your recognise of kids and pets turning up in scams.
PLEASE.. we tell our kids never to accept or talk to strangers online.. it is even more important with adults.

ReplyDeleteHi everyone! Just wanted to drop a line here. I was on Plenty Of Fish dating app yesterday and i ran a cross a profile name of JamesAF. We exchange phone numbers. His story is he is 30 years old originally from Las Vegas, lived in England for a bit with his grandmother and came back to the US. He has a twin sister that suggested to try POF. The kicker is he says he is a veterinarian before he got into the Army and he is a Sargent. He said he just came back on the 25 of last month from Afghanistan and he is getting out of the military soon. He says his name is John Ward eventhough his profile says JamesAF. He says he is stationed out in Fort Riley, Kansas for the past 4 years. And he has been only in the military for 4 years and is getting out soon. I reversed his imagines and i first got Nigerian Scams and an Instagram profile of wardmark10.

This morning he added me to his Instagram. Well whoever the real Ward is jas been in the military for a long time and has a tattoo of his right arm. Why i know the length of serving? The uniform. Darker camo is the jungle uniform and the light one is the desert one. Im in the military going on 8 years and I've never had the jungle one. His Instagram pictures (all of them) have been uploaded in May 2018 and the only picture not in uniform he has his face covered. The tattoo that is on his arm in his uniform, is on the opposite side in his civilian picture without a face. The only people he follows are celebrities also.
I know the new age is just texting. However, if you really start liking a guy make him talk to you ON THE PHONE OR VIDEO CHAT! make sure he has social media and the history is lengthy, see if he has real people as friends . Hope this helped a little! Why i got all this was because i hate when people use military or civil servants as their scams.
Thank you for this. I've been talking to him for over a month. I never sent him anything. I feel so stupid right now to think that such a perfect guy was real. I mean the real Ward is but this guy had a weird accent, sometimes it's British, sometimes it sounds African. I spoke to him on the phone a few times. He texted me good morning every single morning. But I knew it was off when he asked me for money. If you're a soldier and so proud, why ask a person you don't know for money.
DeleteIt's just so real because things I asked him over the phone, he knew the answers to immediately. Like he wants to settle down and get married, he wants to have his own clinic. He was thinking about New York or California. He can't wait to get home to relax with his parents in Vegas. One managed a store, the other was a USPS worker.
He told me he can't use his assets right now because when he came back on July 5, 2019, some thing happened to his squad. A mission gone wrong and their squad is under investigation. So they can't use their assets. He kept telling me he's hungry. He volunteers for the orphanage. (Big Reg Flag). He said his personal phone was taken away for this security clearance. He uses Google Hangouts. His twin sister is getting married in November.
I'm telling you guys all the details of our conversations because he's likely to use the same information on you so he can keep his story straight. I wouldn't believe it until I saw exact details of what he said to me.

DeleteHi I'm here because I was on POF he love bomb me said he was divorced and hasn't seen his little boy for years he said he could Skype on Sunday well Sunday came he only texts and said his best friend died I of course didn't believe him because he said he was Edwards air force basement and due to security reasons he couldn't talk. I don't buy it because I know people who serve and they can send audios and talk once I revealed who I knew he was defensive because he sent me his ID and passport made up a story how his dad are farmers in Idaho the reason I'm here is because he asked me for $200 for his son that he will even send me $500 later I was very annoyed and never sent anything I called him out on the webchat he said we would meet dec 18 I of course didn't believe it but he said last minute he had Christmas party with family today he use a reddit picture for his so called warehouse tool blah blah I made him sent me an audio he isn't American he definitely sounds between Caribbean Vietnamese I honestly don't know who pronounced "busy" as biizzi unless you are not from here he also said work as in bwok I just blocked him I am posting this if it is similar guy
