He is currently going by the name Richard Brown and is claiming to be an orthopaedic doctor in a New Zealand hospital

    I got some red flags, so did research and the Nigerian scammer doesn't know yet that I'm onto him. Is there a way to catch and convict. These guys need to be stopped.

      they will only be stopped when they get no body to talk to and no money sent to them.
      Africa is NOT interested in stopping it's scammers and that is where your boy is.
      I wish they could be stopped and we didn't have to keep warning and protecting but we do.
      Africans scam.. their police do nothing.

    I was scammed on Facebook. Someone was using Andre Moreau's photos. I reported it to Facebook and they did nothing. Left up the profiles. I ran the photos on catfish and they didn't get identified as Mr. Moreau. I found out about him because the Nigerian who was chatting with me gave me Andre's name. Good thing I was suspicious but I didn't know that they were stealing people's pictures. I fell in love but it wasn't Andre.

      NO and you fell in love with the attention and the romantic idea of it.. Nigerian scammers are simply evil creatures for the way they manipulate women.

    He also goes under andy franklin and he sent my mom checks with her name and address and told her to write it for 10 thousand dollars. When she did she deposited into her personal checking account and it caused her to lose her bank account

      yes the checks are fake and are there so the scammer can steal money and leave the account owner with a debt! So it it is only her account she is lucky... but you know someone you had never met would NEVER send you checks .. Please see that she takes more care online and thanks for the information

      ANYONE that claims to be on an oil rig is never real.
      They do not do it. Real men do NOT go looking on social media to contact women.
      Every time someone says they are Marine Engineer or on a rig , it is a scammer from
      West Africa with love words.
      NEVER AGREE TO GO TO HANGOUTS,WHATSAPP OR ANY OTHER CHAT APP.
      They WILL ask for cards and/ or cash

    Ik had sinds begin november contact via watsapp met mathieu gauthier met fotos van andre moreau!! Hij zat in senegal im erfenis vader op te halen. Hij vroeg mij geld voor hotel en procedures die gevolgd moesten worden. Heb ik dus niet gedaan en nu heb ik een bericht gekregen dat hij in gevangenis zit en zgn commisaris van politie probeert contact met mij te maken met tel van mathieu!!!!!

      Ha ha ha ... blokkeer WhatsApp en wees voorzichtig als deze zeer slechte leugenaars en bedelaars, en zullen alles doen voor geld. Dit is een klassieke voorschotfraude. U betaalt, u verliest. The Inheritence is een veel voorkomende zwendel. Senegalezen zijn vaak oplichters en maken hier gebruik van. BLOK, negeer en laat ze zwijgen. Alleen
