Mine is an orthopedic doctor (Edward Bernardo) from Tampa in Yemen that has a son in New Orleans in a boarding school. He was deployed to Yemen on Monday last week and is trying to get out to get custody of his son so the ex family grandparents don't try to take his son from him. He is sending me a link to a lawyer so I can contact the lawyer for him...and who knows what! I saw this post and realized it was all fake! I did get some amazing roses, chocolate, teddy bear, and I love you balloon with a card that says I love you! what an elaborate scam!!!! the other names used to buy the flowers were Edward Severson and email was robertwincolson@gmail.com. the email he was using is to send pictures is romanboy332@gmail.com. His supposed son's emaillucasthespiderman111@gmail.com. He son he said was 8 then when his son emailed me he said he was 12. things just don't add up!!! All fake they can't even keep their lies straight! I got free roses! They are beautiful! but beware!!!!
Thank you! I recently met a 'surgeon' on Instagram claiming to be from Turkey with the Turkish army in Sana'a Yemen. I wasn't suspicious until he claimed to be in love with me a week after we started talking. We have moved out chatting over to Hangouts at his request. Hmmm. I still talk to him but now I just really want to know who he really is without him knowing. Again, thank you.
ReplyDeleteThere is a guy named David Harman who claims to be an orthopedic surgeon working in Yemen. I didn’t care about him, until he told me that he’s in love with me. He claims that he’s a widow with two children. He said his wife died a painful death. This guy is asking me to pay for his vacation certificate so he can come visit me. Can’t believe I almost fell for it. If anyone know any David Harman, please let me know. He kept asking me to pay for his vacation.
ReplyDeleteANYONE that claims to be a Doctor is never real.
DeleteThey do not do it. Real men do NOT go looking on social media to contact women.
Every time someone says they are A Doctor, it is a scammer from
West Africa with love words.
NEVER AGREE TO GO TO HANGOUTS,WHATSAPP OR ANY OTHER CHAT APP.
They WILL ask for cards and/ or cash
NEVER SEND
David Harman will not exist.. there are no American surgeons in Yemen... the story is textbook scammers. They always have the same stories !

Thank you for letting me know. There is a guy named Walter Luca from Phoenix, Arizona. He says, he is orphan. His parents died in an accident when he was 8. He grew up up to a certain age by his uncle who also died.

ReplyDeleteThey are always an Orphan and had a sad background .. to make you feel closer to them and feel sorry for it ! Always a sob story! thanks for the information
DeleteOkay. Thank you for this info. I got a message through messenger from a guy saying he is in yemen working as a doctor. The weird thing is he can write on swedish too. He has a fb page wich seems legit. We have been writing two days. He instantly wanted contact on whatsapp. And he is so super romantic, saying the the sweetest things. I did get all bubbly when he showed so much affection. And everything has so far been okay. But for beeing an american he really sucks at spelling. And the swedish is not perfect. So what do I make out of it all? Am I beeing fooled? I feel so stupid
ReplyDeleteWe can all write in all languages thanks to Google Translate. However there are no American or western Doctors in Yemen! Would a man be super romantic you have never met??/ No of course not.
DeleteYou are being SCAMMED... Good translate is not perfect and that is what he is using
Please !!! know it's all fake and break away from it.

DeleteTo finish up...the guy said he was hacked severely since being in Yemen, and stateside Bank he has acct with in New York has frozen his account, and is requiring him to present IN PERSON to have acct access reinstated. He is asking me, a 54 yo woman on SSDI, homeless living in a homeless shelter, just lost menial p/t job how long it would take to get the fee and send to him. As soon as he's stateside, he will access his acct and repay me. When that wasn't sufficient (bc I told him it would take 2-3months for me!! He then insisted on a $100 itunes card to Grant him Access to online loan applications. He has a Gmail account, nothing professional. TY FOR ALL. OF YOUR BLOGS! I LEARNED LOTS! IVE searched his name, birthday, state, profession, identification number all of which he offered. Can't find a thing. Nor his claim of Employment. I REALLY APPRECIATE ALL YOU EDUCATED ME ON THIS MATTER.
ReplyDeleteOf course NO bank would need someone IN PERSON especially deployed, the Army would have sorted all of this out for him.
DeleteMay I educate you a little more.. PLEASE DON'T ALLOW STRANGERS TO DO THIS AND NOW BLOCK THESE DANGEROUS SCAMMERS. GET WELL AWAY FROM THEM THIS IS NOT A GAME
I have an orthopedic doctor from Texas in Yemen that contacts me only through whatsapp. He started off as a Christian conversation, then started cussing because someone he loaned his computer to has now compromised his security. He needs an apple card. So he wants me to get one and scratch off the numbers and take a picture to send it to me. The whole time I am laughing here. I am not stupid, know how these scams work and have let this guy get this far, knowing full and well, where this was going. See I have worked security for the US Government. So this sista, is a smart one. LOL can't wait when I tell him he's caught
ReplyDeleteIf you were so smart as soon as you knew it was fake (which should have been at the start) then you should have got out and blocked it.
DeleteNo he hasn't 'been caught' and it wont bother him. Now not getting you to talk to would have done. Laughing.. I'm not. I don't know how to get it that these get silence. he will have enjoyed the chat practice with you

ReplyDeletethose gifts will come from gift cards other victims who have paid the scammers.. they are not generous but they must have been very sure of you and your money and services. No such thing as free roses! they hAve cost someone
DeleteBe very careful as it's not the usual that a man you have never met would be so romantic and he has your address.. put that with a birthday and age and they have the beginning of Identity theft.
Thanks very much for all the information, it really helps warn others.
BUT.. you need a fraud alert with a credit reference company or those flowers will turn out to be very expensive
